Daris Judd

I am a metal smith by trade, but have been incorporating many different materials into my work. I have been represented in galleries and at shows across the country with my fabricated jewelry and wall pieces for thirty years.

My expertise includes metal jewelry, large copper wall sculptures, wood and metal mirrors and whimsical metal clocks. I also create multi media canvases using copper and found objects, using a technique I call ‘painting on metal’ with the use of heat and patinas. Encaustic wax painting, handmade art books, sculptural figures and painted furniture are also part of my creative endeavors.

I have taught classes in creativity, jewelry techniques, painting and book making.
