The Spokane Jewelers Guild was founded in 1982 by a small group of metal-smiths as a nonprofit educational association. The objectives of the organization are to promote the knowledge, skills and appreciation of fine craftsmanship in metalsmithing and other techniques used in creating wearable artisan jewelry.
The guild aims to provide a strong and dynamic community to all who have an interest in the jewelry arts. We host workshops, demonstrations, and lectures as well as meet on a monthly basis September through June. Part of this programming includes challenges, exchanges, the sharing of tips and ideas and the participation in exhibits that showcases our work.
Our website helps members network with one another and gives members the opportunity to showcase their work. Email updates notify members of opportunities and events.
Annual social events include a December holiday party with exchange and a June potluck to wrap up the years programming.
Membership is open to all. Everyone is welcome to join from the beginner to the master craftsperson, teachers, students, collectors and more. Each member plays a valuable part in creating a dynamic community.
